The Schweizer 300C is used for training and transport. It can comfortably seat two passengers and one pilot. Because the power reserves are rather small, particularly at summer temperatures, it is mainly used by flight students to test their range of flight experience.

The Swiss 300C is manufactured in the United States. It has been manufactured in versions A, B and C. The newest model, the Schweizer 300 C/B, has been specifically developed as a teaching model.
